By his own standards, this game was nothing short of a disaster for Ashwin. After bowling superbly in the first innings, Ashwin was taken apart by Steve Smith in the second innings. He got off to a fine start in the second innings as well dismissing Warner and Marsh, but then lost his rhythm and seemed utterly naïve on a track where there was plenty of turn of offer. Knowing the fighter he is, expect this champ to be back in the next test.
