3. Glenn Maxwell’s Maiden Hundred

Glenn Maxwell of Australia celebrated his maiden Test ton with his wrist held high in the air and a broad smile on his face. On day two, the attacking all-rounder achieved a unique feat playing his fourth Test match only, as he became only the second Australian after Shane Watson to complete a century in all three formats.
He even from day one looked dead solid with his strides and later helped him attain brownie points in the game. His hundred included nine fours and two sixes. Though, what stood out for him was his change in approach, which largely helped Steven Smith, who scored his second century of the series, to put India under pressure early on.
