Ravindra Jadeja was underused by captain Virat Kohli on Day 2 of India-Australia Bengaluru Test.

Off the 90 overs bowed, left-arm spinner Ravindra Jadeja was given just 16 overs, the most among four of the bowlers. Surprisingly, he notched three of the six wickets fallen. He was kept out of action for the major part of first session and up to the half portion of the second.

Virat Kohli, who preferred going with Ashwin and both the pacers on either side, almost seemed to forget ‘Sir’. Social media was left surprised as to how and why on the track which saw spin buffing Indian batsmen, a wicket-taker wasn’t used.
