Indian pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar is expected to be rested for the upcoming series against Australia, a report in The Indian Express suggests. It is to be noted that the Indian cricket team is set to play a grand home season once again and Bhuvi will be one of the bowlers who will be the key for the team.
The current selection panel has always opted to give players rest, especially Pacers and Kumar is the next player who will be rested. Earlier, the selectors decided to give Mohammed Shami and Umesh Yadav a break after Test series against Sri Lanka.
Before that, Jasprit Bumrah was also rested for Windies series. According to the chain, Bhuvneshwar is the next player who should be rested. Rest to him will either result in a comeback of Umesh Yadav or Shami and if selectors decide to bring both of them back, then Shardul Thakur might have to make way for the duo.
Ravindra Jadeja is also expected to make his comeback, and Yuzvendra Chahal might have to make way for him. If this happens, then Indian team will go in the series will all the three left arm spinners. Meanwhile, R Ashwin is expected to be given a break again.

He is currently in England playing county cricket. He has a contract of four matches, and he has only played two games till now. He might be considered for just T20I series. The selectors are set to name the squad today (September 10).
While MSK Prasad will join the meeting from Lucknow, the rest of the selectors and skipper Virat Kohli will join the conference from their respective states. The limited overs series between India and Australia starts on September 10.
The first ODI will be played on September 17 in Chennai. Before the commencement of the series, the Steven Smith led side will take on Broad President XI in a one day contest on September 12 at Chennai.
