India vs Australia 2017: Rain Threat Looms Over Bengaluru Test 1

The second Test between India and Australia, which will be played in Bengaluru from March 4, is facing a threat due to rain forecast.

The Meteorological department has predicted rainfall in the Garden City from 4th to 7 March, which can completely washout the much-awaited second Test. A Norwegian weather forecast and a meteorological website has predicted heavy rains in the city while the Indian Meteorological department has predicted isolated as well as scattered rainfall for the next seven days.

According to reports, inconsistent rain is expected on all five days of the Test match. The Indian Meteorological department has forecast a cloudy weather on 4th and 5th March with one or two spells of rain or thundershowers, while the next few days are likely to have scattered rainfall.

A washout will be a huge blow to India’s hopes of bouncing back after suffering a heavy defeat in the series-opener at Pune. India’s 19-match unbeaten streak came to an end after losing the match by 333 runs and they would be keen to return back to winning ways as soon as possible.
