India vs Australia 2017: Steve Smith Breaks Tradition, Will Announce Playing XI At The Toss 1

The Australian skipper Steve Smith has broken the tradition of Australia cricket team as he will not announce the playing XI of the team prior to the game, which has been the case with the Australian teams from past many years.

Steve Smith has said that he will announce the playing XI for the game at the time of the toss, giving no chance to Indian bowlers to make their plans to launch an attack on Australian batting line-up.

Well, Smith not disclosing his playing XI prior to the game do not come as a surprise as Aussies are expected to struggle versus Indian spinners and leaking out your playing XI a day before the game, equals to providing an advantage to the home team.

So Smith has decided to break the rule and he will be announcing the playing XI for the first Test match at the toss only.

The tour is expected to be a tough one for the visitors with Aussies set to struggle against spinners during the tour. The Australian team has not been in best of form in sub-continent as last year they were whitewashed by Sri Lanka in the three-match Test series. On their last tour to India as well this team danced to the tunes of spinners and lost the four-match series by a margin of 0-4.
