Indian skipper Virat Kohli hints that he is not sure for the Dharamsala Test as he revealed that he will be taking a call on his availability today night or tomorrow morning, before the game,
“We will take few more hours before taking the final call. I will try my best to be 100% fit but if not, I am sure boys will take the responsibility.”
Virat Kohli said this in the context of the shoulder injury that he suffered during the Ranchi Test match. Doubts were raised when Indian skipper did not come out to bat during the practice session ahead of the final Test and the rumours got the air when Shreyas Iyer was called to the team as a backup of Kohli.
Still, Kohli is optimistic about being fit for the game but if he fails to get match fit, then Shreyas Iyer might be handed the debut cap and we might also see an underperforming Karun Nair making a way for Jayant Yadav.
Meanwhile, there are also reports that Mohammed Shami will not participate in the last Test. Though he has reached Dharamsala to join the Indian squad.
The fourth Test, which is built as a decider, starts from March 25 at Dharamsala. Both the teams are locked at one-all in the series.
