Australia Cricket team have come from the back twice in this series and would be desperate to win the series beating Indian National Cricket team in the fifth and the final ODI at the Feroz Shah Kotla in Delhi. Last night at Mohali, they beat the host nation by four wickets chasing a massive total of 359 runs.

Australia makes a turnaround

After losing the first two encounters, the Australian batters finally found their form which changed the course of the series. While they won the third ODI banking on a strong start from Aaron Finch and Usman Khawaja. They added 191 runs for the first wicket to set the tone for the batters to come. Meanwhile, the Indian openers faltered to provide a good start which took the game out of India’s hand. The visiting team continued their winning run in the fourth ODI chasing a massive target of 359 runs. Ashton Turner, who came into the playing XI in place of injured Marcus Stoinis – made the most of his opportunity. He smacked an unbeaten 84 off just 43 balls to level terms in the series and took it to the last game of the series.

However, they will ponder over the form of experienced Shaun Marsh, who has struggled to find form since his return from injury. The skilled southpaw still has six more ODIs – one against India and five against Pakistan, to return to form ahead of the ICC World Cup. The bowlers, meanwhile, have done an excellent job despite being on the expensive side.

India will aim to bounce back

On the other hand, the Indian National Cricket team will look to tick the boxes to return to winning ways. The bowlers have suddenly lost the form, and their control over the game have suddenly faded away. The bowlers need to storm back soon as they will be pivotal for the success in the men in blues. Besides, their fielding has been below average and will have to pull up their socks to avoid more mishaps.

Match Prediction

The Indian National Cricket Team recorded their 500th win with their second win in the series. But Australia scripted a terrific turnaround to level the series. Going forward into the series decider, they will have confidence by their side to continue the winning streak.

However, the hosts have all the possibilities to turn the tables giving these conditions are known to them. They can exploit the wicket on offer and win the series. But it will be a thriller of a game with every time having a hand on the trophy. Considering the men in blues playing on their home turf, they will have a slight advantage over the game at Feroz Shah Kotla, Delhi.
