India vs Australia 2019: Watch – Bhuvneshwar Kumar Castles Aaron Finch in Mohali
In the ongoing penultimate One-day International of India vs Australia 2019 series, fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar has bowled brilliantly so far for the Men in Blue in Mohali. In result, Australian skipper Aaron Finch has bagged an unwanted record under his belt. With this, he is dismissed by Bhuvneshwar on four occasions in the ongoing year. Thus, Finch’s Achilles Heels continues on facing in-swinging deliveries.
Back at Sydney at Australia, Finch failed to open his account before struggling at Adelaide and there he faltered while playing across the line. To add more to it, Finch scored 24-ball 14 before being trapped in front of the wickets by Bhuvneshwar at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).
Interestingly, the top-order has become the first Aussie skipper to bag two noughts in a bilateral day-long series. Bhuvneshwar has cleaned up Finch at the PCA Stadium in Mohali.
In the 359-run chase, Bhuvneshwar got a bit of swing which was enough to unsettle Finch.
Earlier, in the third ODI, Finch slammed match-winning 93 to put up the 193-run partnership for the first wicket alongside Usman Khawaja in Ranchi.
In the recent past, Finch has struggled to tackle in-swingers. And it was visible on Sunday (March 10) when Bhuvneshwar has left Finch dumbstruck.
Bhuvneshwar dropped the first blood on the fourth delivery of Australia’s very first over. The in-swinging delivery saw Finch shuffling across as the extra nip after pitching sneaked in through the huge gap between bat and bat to rattle the stumps.
In the four-match Test series, Finch has failed to defend himself against the vicious in-swingers. Well in the ongoing ODI, Bumrah bagged the wicket of Shaun Marsh with a brilliant Yorker. Bumrah has finished his opening spell with one for 24 while giving away 13 runs off 24 balls.
Bhuvneshwar came at the expense of unfit Mohammed Shami, who has been rested for the remainder of the ODI series.
