India’s southpaw spinner Ravindra Jadeja didn’t notice the inside edge while bowling against Marcus Stoinis. Thus, Jadeja went berserk and made a loud appeal. However, Indian skipper Virat Kohli asked Jadeja to cool down his appeal. Thus, Kohli shared a light moment with Ravindra Jadeja after the end of the over.

Meanwhile, India restricted Australia to 272 runs after the tourist’s skipper won the toss and decided to bat first. The Australian openers – Usman Khawaja and Aaron Finch added 75 runs for the opening stand. Finch was cleaned up by Ravindra Jadeja when the off-spinner got the breakthrough in his first over.

The Australian skipper scored 27 runs from 43 balls. Meanwhile, the previous match centurion Peter Handscomb and Usman Khawaja continued their good form going. Both the batsman added a partnership of 99 runs for the second wicket.

Khawaja continued to impress as the southpaw batsman scored his second ODI hundred, which is also his second of this series. Thus, the left-hander accumulated 386 runs in the five-match series. However, he was dismissed soon after completing his century when he tried to clear the cover fielder.

They say in the cricket terminology that one wicket brings the downfall of the second. Subsequently, Glenn Maxwell was dismissed in a similar fashion like Usman Khawaja. Meanwhile, Ashton Turner, who had turned the previous match was dismissed after he scored a run-a-ball 20.

Furthermore, Mohammed Shami was able to extract extra bounce from the surface which took the shoulder of Peter Handscomb’s bat. Handscomb scored 52 runs from 60 balls with the help of four fours.

Mohammed Shami and Ravindra Jadeja took two wickets each whereas Bhuvneshwar Kumar scalped three wickets. Meanwhile, Kuldeep Yadav had an expensive outing as he conceded 74 runs in his 10 overs spell and took one wicket. On the other hand, Usman Khawaja top-scored for Australia as he scored 106 runs.
