India’s stand-in skipper, Rahane surely deserves an extra mark for his outstanding leadership skills in his captaincy debut match. The Mumbai lad was terrific as the captain and his tactics reaped great rewards. The way India made a daunting comeback on the first day was very inspiring. Batting wise as well, Rahane didn’t do too bad either, scoring 46 and 38* in the crucial match.
