For any other individual, this would have been a great game personally, but for someone like R. Ashwin, it was just a moderate outing. After picking up just a solitary scalp in the first innings, Ashwin was on fire in the second innings as he notched up three Aussie wickets, in the name of Peter Handscomb, Glenn Maxwell and Josh Hazlewood. But his knock of 30 in India’s first innings was utterly priceless, as it eventually turned out to be effective for the hosts.
