On the other side, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is yet to release the official statement on Patel’s injury, as Virat Kohli-led Men in Blue sweated it out in the nets, both with the bat and a ball which further extended to the rigorous fielding drills.

Pertinently, the slow bowler in the form of Patel was left out for the first three ODIs, as his replacement came in the form of Ravindra Jadeja, who was left out owing to the rotating policy revealed by the chief of the national selectors M.S.K Prasad for the BCCI, earlier this month.
