Before the start of the historical Test match between two of the neighbouring countries India and Bangladesh, it was the home team that won the toss and decided to bat first. Without any surprise, Ajinkya Rahane replaced Karun Nair in the squad with skipper Virat Kohli going with five bowlers.
The pitch for the game is expected to be good for batting before turning its back towards batsmen by aiding bowlers.
