Bangladesh won the 2nd ODI in Mirpur in emphatic style as they defeated India by 6 wickets. With the win in the second ODI, Bangladesh also lifted the ODI series to create history. This is Bangladesh’s first bilateral series win over India. After registering this win, Bangladesh has officially qualified for the 2017 edition of the ICC Champions Trophy.
After making three changes to the side, the Indians batted first, only to be rocked early. Later, a middle order collapse ensured that the Bangla Tigers stormed back into the game and simply annihilated the visitors. The Indians were all out for 200 in 45 overs, and a rain delay meant that the hosts needed 200 from 47 overs. The Bangladeshis were never really tested and eventually got to the target with 9 overs to spare.
The social media like always was buzzing with activity as the game progressed. Twitter was busy as always, with people expressing their views. Below, are the few selective Twitter reactions for the 2nd ODI between Bangladesh and India.
Truth in what Dhoni says. This has been a long, draining 12 months. Possibly, the reason why they couldn’t raise their game when demanded.

Batting failed, yes, but long term worry is bowling for Ind. Aus & SA would have made 200 a very difficult target for B’desh to chase.

Bangladesh lost 34 games on the trot since 1988 at home, beat India in 2004 and ended that streak. They’ve come a long way! #INDvBAN
