The Day In Numbers: Virat Kohli has eclipsed past former Indian opener Virender Sehwag’s score of 1105 at home Test season.
Kohli has crossed Sehwag’s record mark in his 15th innings against Bangladesh when he scored 1168 in 2016-17.
In 2004-05 season, the right-handed batsman Sehwag had registered the feat.
India had set their name in record books by registering 600-plus scores in three consecutive Test matches including Mumbai, Chennai and the ongoing Test in Hyderabad.
