India’s 3 dropped catches : Indian fielding let them down as India dropped 3 catches in the first hour of play. The first opportunity to be wasted was by Ajinkya Rahane who dropped England skipper Alastair Cook. Then it was Indian skipper’s turn to drop the same batsman again in the next over. The third and the final catch dropped was of Haseeb Hameed by  Indian opening batsman Murali Vijay. These fielding mistakes often proved to be crucial for a team but luckily for India the dropped catches did not hurt much as the Indian spinners struck early.
