Mishra, Ashwin fail : India’s regular spinners Amit Mishra and Ravichandran Ashwin failed to impress on as the chapters of day two unfolded on Rajkot on Thursday. Both the bowlers combinedly picked up 1 wicket in the whole of day 2 which is quite disappointing for the Indian team. That 1 wicket was picked up by Amit Mishra who dismissed Zafar Ansari lbw in front of the stumps. Ashwin who bowled superbly in the series against New Zealand failed to pick up even a single wicket on day 2 as he went for a total of 167 runs combining the two days.
