India vs England 2016, 5th Test, Day 4: Twitter Reacts As Karun Nair Creates History At Chepauk
Dec 19, 2016 at 5:26 PM
With his glorious innings of 303*, Karun Nair became the second ever Indian to cross 300 run mark in Test cricket. All during his innings, he never looked in any sorts of trouble. On the other hand, he doubled up his speed after crossing the 250 run mark and took no time to score 300 runs. He surpassed some greats like Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, V.V.S. Laxman and Sourav Ganguly. Now he is the third highest run scorer for India by virtue of scoring 303*..
Nair’s score not just helped his own case but also helped Indian team to get a heavy lead over England and there might be a case when Indian team might not need to bat again. It was a splendid innings from him where he did not just tumbled many records but also made a name for himself.
Twitter showered praises on Karun Nair and applauded him for his lavish innings. Here is how they reacted on his innings –
