4. Ian Bell Run-Out (2011):

The second Test of India’s tour of England in 2011 was hit with a bizzare incident. On the third day of the match, English batsman Ian Bell walked off the field for tea after wrongly believing that Eoin Morgan’s shot had reached the boundary.
Indian fielder Praveen Kumar, who chased the ball and stopped it before it touched the boundary rope, too thought that the ball had crossed the boundary. Unaware of the fact that the ball still hadn’t reached the boundary, Kumar threw the ball and the bails were dislodged with Bell at the other end of the pitch on his way off the ground. After a lengthy discussion between the umpires, Bell was given out. However, Indian skipper MS Dhoni avoided a major controversy by recalling Bell after holding a discussion with England captain Andrew Strauss and coaches of both teams.
