- Moeen Ali:
Fresh from a five wicket haul over Bangladesh, Ali will want to carry on his good performance. The off spinner has already tormented India in the past, when he got 19 wickets in the five match series when India last toured England in 2014. On surfaces that are bound to aid him colossally, Ali’s threat will be magnified in no time. The Indian batsmen were guilty of gifting away wickets to Ali in 2014, and if they repeat the same blunder, England could well fancy their chances for the series. If he pitches the ball in the right areas, negotiating him is a task too cumbersome. Being a southpaw, watching him bat against Ravindra Jadeja and Amit Mishra will make an interesting episode indeed, as he will rely more on aggression.
