For both the players brought in as replacements, this might be their last opportunity to make a statement.
Parthiv has had a decent comeback while Karun Nair wasn’t so impressive in the two Test matches.
With the regulars coming back in the side for the Australia series,
they might not feature in playing eleven.
Hence they will want to make most of the last opportunity.
