- Ravindra Jadeja (4.5/5):
Jadeja, out of nowhere, turned a tame draw into a victory for India at Chennai. With a ten- wicket match haul at Chennai, Jadeja took 26 wickets in five games at an average of 25.84, almost five less than that of Ashwin, the leading wicket-taker. Most importantly, Jadeja preyed on Alastair Cook six times, the same batsman who tormented India in 2012. Batting wise, he scored 224 at an average above 37 including a match-winning 90 at Mohali.
