The veteran opener might have well played his last international game for India, as he didn’t have a fruitful outing in the only Test he played at Rajkot. Gambhir was dismissed for 29 and 0 in the first Test and if he was to prolong his career, a big knock was the only way. Fair to say, with other openers doing well, one might not hear the name of Gambhir again.
