With the ball, Ashwin had a forgettable outing as he was taken apart for 63 in 8 overs. To be fair to Ashwin though, the wicket was a graveyard for bowlers and his choice of containing the batsmen wasn’t too inappropriate either as he looked to stem the run flow. The tall off- spinner would want some assistance from the strip at Cuttack in the second ODI.
