India vs England 2016/17, 3rd T20I: Twitter Reacts As Virat Kohli's Men Thrash Visitors To Win Series 1

Yuzvendra Chahal took a career-best 6/25 as Virat Kohli-led India thrashed England by a whopping 75 runs to win the T20I series 2-1.

Chasing a mammoth 203 to win the series, the visitors did not have the best of starts as Sam Billings departed even without opening his account. A 47-run partnership between Jason Roy and Joe Root followed by a 64-run stand between the latter and Eoin Morgan was setting the match for a tense finish before they lost their remaining eight wickets for only 8 runs to surrender the match meekly. Chahal was the wrecker-in-chief as the leggie became only the second bowler after former Sri Lanka spinner Ajantha Mendis to bag six wickets in T20 internationals.

Earlier, Mahendra Singh Dhoni scored his first T20 International fifty to help India post an imposing total of 202/6. The hosts suffered a huge setback early on when their skipper Virat Kohli was run-out for only two before a 61-run partnership between KL Rahul (22) and Suresh Raina (63) steadied the ship. With the platform set for a good score, Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh fired on all cylinders to help their team score a mammoth total. Dhoni was dismissed by Chris Jordan after scoring 56 off only 36 balls while Yuvraj Singh scored 27 from only 10 deliveries.
