Shameful is probably the only derogatory term which comes to mind, to describe the scheduling of the ODI series between India and England. With the Champions Trophy barely five months away, it hardly makes any sense to have a three match T20I series. Rather, a seven-match ODI series would have been the perfect remedy for India.
Nevertheless, Virat Kohli’s energetic side was more content with the limited ODI preparations on offer and that was evident by the lionhearted performance from the side. There were several positives which emerged and the 2-1 series victory is another indication of that.
