Indian spinners excel : India bowled well to restrict England to 400 runs and once again Indian spinners stood up to their task. Ravindra Jadeja picked up four wickets and Ravichandran Ashwin picked up six wickets.
This was Ashwin’s 23rd 5th wicket haul and it was well deserved on a pitch where it was difficult to get the length right. Jayant Yadav, meanwhile, failed to pick up a wicket while the other two spinners did quite well.
