India vs England: Five Standout Performers From The 3rd Test! 1

 4) Parthiv Patel:-

The wicketkeeper-batsman was brought in as a replacement for an injured Wriddhiman Saha.

But at the last moment, an injury ruling out KL Rahul meant he had to open the innings as well.
With a calm 42 runs in the 1st and an aggressive 67 runs in the 2nd Innings, he grabbed his opportunity with both hands. He was also good behind the stumps with 4 close catches.

Virat was very impressed with him and even considered playing him as a specialist batsman.
