Ashwin’s evolution as a batsman : Ravichandran Ashwin has been a superb bowler for India over the years but his contributions with the bat also cannot be ignored. He has stepped up and performed with the bat whenever needed and on numerous occasions has helped India get out of trouble. Today was no different as India were at a stage where they lost 6 wickets for only 204. Ashwin then played a superb knock of 57 and is still unbeaten at the crease with Ravindra Jadeja partnering him.
