Preferably, in this series, Dhoni should bat at 5, considering the fact that he is playing ODI’s after a really long span. At 5, he will be able to spend a decent amount of time in the middle that will enable him to just explode in the last few overs. If Dhoni is to find his golden old form of a few years ago, batting at number five would be the best option.
