Colin Munro was adjudged the man of the match for his scintillating hundred in the match. Both the team will now travel to the South to play the final T20I of their tour of India. The Indian team will be looking forward to winning the match to continue their unbeaten run at home.

Let’s have a look at the Indian predicted XI for the upcoming third T20I:

Shikhar Dhawan

Shikhar Dhawan has been solid at the top of the order for India from the past 12 months and has given India some quick and solid starts. Even though he missed out in the first match scoring just one run, he cannot be ruled out as he has been in the sublime form of late.

Rohit Sharma

Rohit Sharma was a victim to a left arm pacer once as he lost his wicket to Trent Boult on five runs. However, he and Dhawan both have been quite outstanding opening the innings for India.

Virat Kohli (Captain)

Virat Kohli played extremely well for his 65 runs in the second T20 where his fellow batsmen were struggling. However, the third T20 will be a pressure game both as a batsman and as a captain, as it will be the series decider.

KL Rahul

Indian team played six bowlers and four bowlers in the first two T20’s, which meant KL Rahul and Dinesh Karthik would miss out on the spot in the eleven. But with Siraj failing in the second T20 and Indian middle order also failing KL Rahul might get a place in the third T20.

Shreyas Iyer

Shreyas Iyer batted for the first time in the Indian colors in the second T20 and impressed with his stroke play. Iyer scored 21 in his first innings for the senior Indian team.

MS Dhoni

MS Dhoni played well for his 49 of 37 deliveries in the second T20 but was unable to build on the start and finish off the innings which he has been struggling to do in the recent times, but some of his innings against Australia and Sri Lanka have been crucial for the Indian team down the order.

Hardik Pandya

Hardik Pandya has been a great find for the Indian team. His all-round capabilities have made him an important part of the team. His performance in the entire series has been below par but can be critical for India in the series decider.

Bhuvaneshwar Kumar

Bhuvaneshwar Kumar has been one of India’s most successful limited overs bowler in past 12 months. He failed to pick up a wicket in the second T20, but his economy rate was very impressive as he gave away just 29 runs in his four overs.

Axar Patel

Axar Patel failed in the second T20 giving away 39 runs in three overs but has impressed in the past and dropping him will not be fair on the left arm spinner.

Jasprit Bumrah

Jasprit Bumrah’s exploit in the death overs have been very important for the Indian team and has also provided crucial break through’s to the Indian team at important junctures. He has become an important component in the present Indian team.

Yuzvendra Chahal

Yuzvendra Chahal was expensive at the beginning of his spell in the second T20 but pulled things back later on and picked up the wicket of Martin Guptill.
