The rain gods have arrived in Kerala, and for the fourth continues day, it continued to rain in the state. The continues downpour of water has created a bit of worry as if the same extends to the game day; then it can affect the contest.

However, the officials of the state association are confident that the game will be conducted, as the stadium has one of the best drainage systems in the country and they will make the ground fit within 20 minutes of rain getting over,

“We are fully prepared. The Greenfield International Stadium has a very good drainage system. It rained last evening too but within 20 minutes to half an hour, the ground was ready. So we had a good rehearsal yesterday. We have plans to clear rainwater,” KCA secretary Jayesh George told Hindustan Times.

Surely, the draining system of a stadium is one of the best things regarding the ground as if a stadium has a good drainage system, then it saves oodles of time, which is consumed in normal cases due to rain.

Meanwhile, the continued rain can have an impact on practice sessions of both the teams.

In past, we have seen many of Indian players taking a day off from the practice session but this time, they would not want to miss a session ahead of the ultimate decider as history will be made if the Indian team will be able to defeat visitors in the last game of the New Zealand tour of India.
