Known to be technically correct and strong, Pujara will be pivotal for Team India’s chances. The 31-year-old can play for longer durations with his patience and determination. Pujara has been one of the finest exponents in seaming conditions for India since the last 4-5 years.

The right-handed batter has looked more mature in his approach when it comes to playing in pressure situations. Pujara is a quite strong square of the wicket and is a good timer of the ball. And, he is equally good while playing his elegant cover drives.

The Saurashtra batsman is also strong off his pads. Pujara’s is a specimen of calmness which helps him to stay at the wicket for a longer duration. Test specialist could score only 85 runs the last time when India toured New Zealand in 2014.
