Five Key Things:
- India have won all the five matches in the World Cup history, interestingly the first win was in 1992 World Cup, which was played in Australia.
- Sachin Tendulkar has been part of the Indian team in all the 5 meetings, this will be the first time that India will be playing their arch rivals in world cup without the little master.
- Four out of the five wins have came when India have batted first, probably pressure while batting second may be the key reason, so you just know what to do when you win the toss.
- Both the teams will be playing without the major names, who are missing probably because of injuries or selection
- Out of the current squad, only 4 Indian players were the part of the 2011 World Cup, while Pakistan have 5 players who were part of the squad in the 2011 World Cup
Both teams have always given a nail biter of a game as can be seen from the margins of victory mentioned above. We hope they have another thriller in store for the fans tomorrow. Both the teams have not been in good form coming in the World Cup, this might be just be the push that both the teams needed. We hope the match brings the best out of both the teams and may the best team on the given day win. Enjoy your Sunday, Cheers.
Do give your thoughts on who do you think will win tomorrow’s cliffhanger.
