The mother of all clashes is here. India are set to take on Pakistan at Old Trafford, Manchester later today. However, there is some good news but more bad news when weather forecast is considered.

England is getting peppered with rains in the most unlikely season. After a successful 2017 Champions Trophy, this event is set to earn ECB a very good name. However, rain has other ideas as it is pelting down across the country over the last few days.

India and Pakistan were already forced to share a point with New Zealand and Sri Lanka due to rain. On the other hand, four matches were abandoned due to rain in the ongoing world cup. This is the highest number of matches that were abandoned in a single world cup.

The weather in Manchester are improving constantly. Latest update from Google suggests, there will be no rain at the start of the match. India vs Pakistan will start at 10:30 local time. But things are set to get much worse towards the latter phases of the match.

India are playing some incredible cricket since the start of the tournament. They were dominant and in complete control during their matches against South Africa and Australia.

Unlike previous ICC events, India possess one of the strongest bowling units in the world. They are a well round team and are a force to reckon with for opposition teams.

On the other hand, Pakistan had a mixed world cup so far. They are the most dangerous side in this mega event. They can turn up on their day and beat any team in the world. So this fixture is going to be an interesting one unless rain wants its presence to be felt.
