Finally, viewers witnessed a day in the ongoing test series when the batsmen had the last laugh. The fourth day at the Feroz Shah Kotla was dominated entirely by the Indian batsmen, and more specifically, by the duo of Kohli and Rahane. India lost just 4 wickets in the day and amplified the advantage they already had. By the end of the day’s play, Kohli was unbeaten on 83, while Rahane made another half century. This innings will surely sooth down Kohli, who was in search of a big knock since a long time. The key will be to build on that.
Below, are the Twitter reactions for the third day’s play.
Drumroll…first 100-run partnership of this series. Rahane-Kohli are the new Dravid-Tendulkar of Indian Test cricket. #IndvSA

South Africa had such a bad session yesterday that in spite of making India fight for runs, they cannot make time a factor in this match.

#IndvSA and so, finally, ended a day of much ado about nothing in Delhi. India came, scored, but South Africa are already conquered.
