India lost the 1st ODi by 5 runs even after a splendid century by Rohit Sharma. Till 40th over, India were well on course to win the match with the required rate just around 9. With enough wickets in hand, India should have chased it down but then Dhoni decided to finish it in style. He scored 31 runs in 30 balls when the required rate was around 10. With 11 needed in the last over, Dhoni couldn’t win it for India.
Twitter pundits trolled him and much rightly so. Here are some of the best trolls
Dhoni is scoring less runs and more ‘you know’ these days.
