In the latest development, the Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) has revealed the ticketing prices of the first of three-match Twenty20 Internationals between hosts India and Sri Lanka which is scheduled at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack on December 20.
It’s pertinent to mention, the stadium in Cuttack has the seating arrangement of around 44 thousand, as out of 43, 829 capacity stadium the reports suggested a total of 32,403 tickets are supposed to be available in the print form.

According to the police advisory, they had requested the authority to arrange the facility of drinking water, as spectators will not be allowed to carry bottles after 2015 incident when crowd hurled plastic bottles onto the field during the Twenty20 International fixture between India and South Africa.
“We discussed everything in detail about the preparation of the match. We also discussed arrangements at airport, hotel and cricket venue,” YB Khurania was quoted as saying by Times of India.

According to the officials of the Odisha cricket administration, every person has to pay INR 8,000 for the corporate box and 5,000 each for the newly-laid pavilion and gallery four air-conditioning boxes (A/C box).
Moreover, the viewers have to pay INR 3,000 owing to the special enclosure, as gallery six has been further made available for the affiliated units of the OCA, as they are bound to pay INR 200 owing to the concession.

For the gallery one and three, the viewers have had to pay INR 500 which would further see the ticket rate for the gallery number two and four has been slated as INR 400.
Pertinently, the gallery number six selection would draw out INR 400 apart from the players’ concession.
So much so, a single person could buy the maximum of two tickets, as the multiple counters will be open on December 16 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM for the public.
The separate ticketing counters would be under CCTV surveillance during the sale of tickets.
However, as the game will indemnify INR 21.71 crore, which would eventually see 22,041 tickets will be made available online for general public.

On the other side, the 10,362 tickets would be reserved for the national cricket body Board of Cricket Control in India (BCCI) and OCA owing to the sponsors followed by the members and the distinct units recognized by both the administrations.
According to the itinerary, the teams will stay at the Hotel Mayfair Lagoon in Bhubaneswar which would further see Odisha State Road Transport Corporation (OSRTC) making use of two Volvo buses for the players respectively.

The association has also detailed out the map for parking area as media fraternity can park their vehicles at Cambridge School Campus outside the stadium as the members and officials are supposed to park vehicles at the academy portion around gate one of the Barabati stadium which would further see general public parking their vehicles at Baliyatra ground, in a bid to keep traffic plying smoothly on the roads.
