For once, everyone thought that Jason Holder would be ruing giving the 44th over of the game to Roston Chase. Till then, India’s innings hadn’t seen even a single six nor did Dhoni have a boundary alongside his name but in that six deliveries, the game went in favour of Indian team where Hardik Pandya cleared the ropes and MS Dhoni as well hit a boundary after consuming 102 deliveries. But later it turned out to be something else.
MS Dhoni’s snail pace innings proved much costlier in the game and 114 balls which he consumed just changed the course, leading to Windies winning the game and trumping India to pull off one of the best wins in the history of cricket.
Without much doubt, MS Dhoni was the sole culprit for that loss as he consumed oodles of deliveries in hope of ending the game in last over but again, a bowler hit him on his dented part of failing to finish the games in last few overs.
Twitter was in no mood to let got Dhoni after this poor show. Here are some of the tweets –
Seen it all now – India fail to chase 190 to beat West Indies, with Dhoni making 54 off 114 balls with a single four. Utterly bizarre.

We all love Dhoni and respect what he is done for the country but for the last couple of years he has not been the same.

Don't worry about MSD's strike rate. West Indies will find a way to lose. Why Jason holder shouldn't be a captain. #IndvsWI

You need a release over in a tight run chase. Maybe this one from Roston Chase was that.
