One of the greatest batsmen of all time, Sachin Tendulkar, has bagged several records, particularly in the ODI set-up. The legendary batsman Tendulkar is the leading run-getter in the 50-over cricket apart from slamming 49 ODI centuries. However, much to over surprise he couldn’t score a hundred on Caribbean soil in the day-long format.

The top-order batsman Tendulkar had made his appearances like his former teammates, Ganguly. He last featured in 2007 on the Caribbean shores. Tendulkar had featured in nine fixtures to score 282 at an average of 27. He had managed three half-centuries to his name with his best score reading 65.

The deputy of Virat Kohli in the limited-over fold, Rohit Sharma had produced a brilliant show with the bat.

The leading run-scorer at the ICC World Cup 2019 had averaged over 70 in the ODI showpiece. He had amassed 648 runs in 10 matches.

Meanwhile, he will be keen to register his maiden ton in the ODI leg.

It has emerged as surprising that Rohit is yet to slam a hundred on Caribbean shores. He had toured Windies on a couple of occasions.

It will be the first time after six years, since Rohit will set his foot on Caribbean soil. He had played 14 matches against Windies to score around 500 runs at an average of 54.33.
