At MA Chidambaram stadium, West Indies and India are currently playing the first match of the three-match ODI series. There was a special guest appearance during that game. It was none other than a street dog.
After registering the victory in the T20I series, the host India and the visitors West Indies are playing the ODI series. In the first ODI on Sunday (15 December), the match was interrupted by a dog for a while when Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer were in the crease. The ground management, as well as Caribbean players, chased the dog who was running around the ground. However, the dog itself found the way to move out of the field.
Here is a video of that incident:

Meanwhile, India had a bad start against the West Indies. Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma lost their wickets early in Chennai ground. However, Rishabh Pant had a good day as he scored his maiden ODI half-century. He built up a strong partnership with Shreyas Iyer to give stability to the team.
Some other incidents
Earlier, during the inauguration day of the Ranji Trophy 2019, in the match between Andhra and Vidarbha, a snake entered the ground. However, no players were harmed, and the ground staff were fortunate to send away the creature from the field. After some time, the match was started between the two teams.
In 2017, the match between Delhi and Uttar Pradesh in the Ranji Trophy at the Palam Air Force Ground was halted when a car entered the playing arena. It was an extraordinary incident in cricket history.
Recently, during the ICC World Cup 2019, the bee attacked the match between South Africa and Sri Lanka. The two teams’ players had to lay down flat on the ground because of which the match was delayed for some time. IPL also had some similar cases when a dog entered the field.
