Star Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja is the most tested Indian Cricketer by National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) in the first six months of 2023, where Indian stalwarts Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli haven’t undergone any tests during this period.

According to reports, a total of 55 cricketers (male and female) have undergone doping tests so far this year. The Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has given three samples during the period between January 2023 to May 2023. Meanwhile, Indian Veterans Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli haven’t tested during 2023 so far.

The CSK all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja samples were taken on February 19, March 26, and April 26, and samples were taken in the form of urine. Former Indian skipper Virat Kohli wasn’t tested even during 2021 and 2022 according to the reports released by NADA.

Ravindra Jadeja has been an integral part of India since he made his debut and his all-around ability gives balance to the India team. He has been in terrific form for the Men in Blue over the past few years. The Left arm spinner can be lethal with his bowling, especially in the sub-continental wickets which would assist the spinners.

According to the NADA reports, they have tested 54 and 60 samples of cricketers during the 2021 and 2022 seasons whereas it is set to reach a record high during the 2023 year as they have already taken 55 samples in until May 2023, With World Cup 2023 being hosted by India the test is likely to reach record high at the end of the year.

Indian T20 skipper Hardik Pandya, veterans Dinesh Karthik and Ambati Rayudu has undergone dope test during this period and Suryakumar Yadav, KL Rahul, Ishan Kishan, Mohammed Siraj, Deepak Chahar, Mayank Agarwal, Rahul Tripathi, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Wriddhiman Saha, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Piyush Chawla and Manish Pandey are the other prominent Indian cricketers who underwent dope tests from January to May

Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur and Smriti Mandhana were the only India Women cricketers to have undergone the dope test with overseas cricketers David Wiese, David Miller, Cameron Green, Sunil Narine, Andre Russell, David Warner, Rashid Khan, David Willey, Trent Boult, Marcus Stoinis, Mark Wood, Adam Zampa, Sam Curran, Liam Livingstone and Jofra Archer are other cricketers were through the test during the IPL 2023.
