Indian Cricket Team Fixtures – 2017
Jan 9, 2019 at 4:12 PM
2016 turned out to be a brilliant year for India across all formats. After losing the ODIs against Australia 4-1 in the first month, the Men in Blue bounced back in style to clean sweep the T20 series against the same opposition 3-0.
Carrying on the momentum, Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led side won the T20 series against Sri Lanka, registered their sixth Asia Cup victory and reached the semi-finals of the World T20. Later in the year, they clinched wins over Zimbabwe and New Zealand in limited-overs.
The biggest success came in Tests as Virat Kohli’s side didn’t lose a single match and won nine out of 12. With this, they extended their unbeaten run in Test matches to 18 and it should be noted that India are yet to lose a series under Kohli’s captaincy.
