2. Ten Players – Pakistan
Naoomal Jaoomal, Jenni Irani, Gogumal Kishenchand, Gulabrai Ramchand, and Pananmal Punjabi were born in Karachi. At the same time, Dilawar Hussain, Gul Mohammad, Abdul Kardar, Man Sood and Amir Elahi are the others, who were born in Lahore. Surprisingly, all these ten players were born in cities which became a part of Pakistan after Independence.
Among them, Gulabrai Ramchand was the most successful Indian cricketer who featured in 33 Test matches, scoring 1180 runs and claimed 41 wickets.
