Australian women’s team reached the finals of women’s World T20 against the West Indian women’s team. Meanwhile, the Australian men’s team were eliminated in the Super 10s stage in a do or die match against India. Australia had made a decent enough 160/6 in 20 overs at the IS Bindra PCA stadium in Mohali. Former T20 captain of Australia Aaron Finch top scored with 43 runs while Usman Khawaja took Bumrah apart as he was hit for four boundaries in an over. Australia got a late match impetus by Glenn Maxwell who scored 31 runs and Peter Nevill who hit a four and a six off the 2 balls he faced.

India’s chase was anchored by Virat Kohli’s 82* and supporting roles by Yuvraj Singh (21) and MS Dhoni (18), who took India to the semis and eliminated Australia out of the World T20 2016. Glenn Maxwell, however, was active on Twitter, cheering on the Australian Southern Stars’ against a resilient team of West Indian eves.

Australia was going great guns with Elyse Villani (52) and Captain Meg Lanning (52) taking Australia to a big total. Maxwell was in his elements tweeting,” Great start from @ElyseVillani and the @SouthernStars!! Doing Australia proud! #4peat #WT20Final #CmonAussie”

An Indian cricket fan gives him to reply, “@Gmaxi_32 even @ElyseVillani is playing better than you lol @SouthernStars”

Maxwell who is known for his quick wit and sarcasm replied to the troll.

However, Maxwell warned everyone with a tweet who were tried to get best out of him.
