Sunil Gavaskar

It was an era when the West Indian giants used to step over teams just like they were nothing but pebbles. India was no different. But a man with relatively short stature was successful to give the Caribbeans some long and sleepless nights. That man was none other than Sunil Gavaskar. He was the first batsman to overtake Bradman’s record of 29 centuries and the first to reach 10,000 runs in Test cricket.
