VVS Laxman
The sublime VVS Laxman, who with his dextrous and sinuous wrists used to make even the hardest of strokes seem ridiculously easy, was most probably the last man standing in the line of a generation of Hyderabadi batsmen. Carrying on the legacy of Jaisimha and Azharuddin, both craftsmen with their wrists, Laxman enjoyed great praise for his decimation of Australian attacks for almost a decade.
