People of Kolkata are lucky as they got the India –Pakistan World T20 match which will be held at Eden Gardens on March 19. Finally, the most anticipated March 19 encounter between India-Pakistan shifted to Kolkata after Himachal Pradesh (HP) government and ex-army men protested against the match in Dharamshala, ICC chief executive Dave Richardson confirmed the news.
The decision was made by ICC after months-long bargaining between BCCI secretary Anurag Thakur and HP government. Richardson did not blame BCCI, he said in the vibrant country this kind of problem could happen.
However, India have lost all four matches to Pakistan at Eden Gardens.
