Team India’s young seamer Jasprit Bumrah made a young girl’s day after Indian skipper Virat Kohli refused to meet her during the ongoing warm-up game.
Meanwhile, India are playing a three-day practise match against Essex ahead of the five-match Test series against England. India have a huge fan base in England and the spectators filled the stadium in good numbers.
A five-year-old girl was present at the ground as well who had come to meet her hero Virat Kohli. Her father brought her to the stadium thinking that it was the best opportunity to meet her hero. She is a huge fan of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) only because of Kohli and was willing to meet the Indian skipper on Wednesday.
The security guards were also kind enough to take the girl close to Kohli twice. However, unfortunately, Virat Kohli ignored her on both occasions as she waited for hours to meet her hero.
The 29-year-old, Kohli went past her and clearly ignored despite the security officer asked him to stop for her.
Jasprit Bumrah noticed the girl’s will to meet Virat Kohli and made her day by meeting her in person. Her father is a huge Mumbai Indians (MI) fan and Bumrah also gifted him an MI cap.
The little girl’s father posted all the updates about the incidents on his Twitter handle which named ‘@_stvros’ and thanked Bumrah from the bottom of his heart for his gesture.
However, he expressed his disappointment on Virat Kohli for not meeting her little child even once.
Here is the series of tweets from the girl’s father:

Daughter waited twice for over an hour to meet @imVkohli her hero and he just walked passed even when your security politely asked him to stop for her. Can't fault your security persons who were fantastic with her. But she'll never get a better chance to see her hero. Real shame pic.twitter.com/0UDBVpR0XH
